Dior Cruise Collection 2025: Where Tartan Defies Fashion

  The  Dior  Cruise collection was a showcase created by Maria Grazie Chiuri - Creative Director of Dior Women’s Collections. The designs paid homage to Scotland's enduring influence on fashion, especially the famous tartan.   Chiuri took the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Christian Dior .   In 1955, Christian Dior himself held two fashion shows in Scotland, one hosted in the ballroom of the Gleneagles Hotel, and the other at Glasgow’s Central Hotel. Dior’s fascination with Scotland is well-documented, with the designer famously stating, “It’s probably the only fancy fabric that resists fashions” .
